Flow Tropical is the result of a collaboration between Ediciones de a Poco and the Dominican artist and photographer Maurice Sánchez who has been documenting for many years the paintings made as advertisements on the walls of food and beer shops, pool and dance clubs, beauty parlors and clothes retailers in cities and small towns all around the Dominican Republic. In addition to the images taken by Maurice Sánchez, the book includes an essay by the Dominican writer and cultural critic Miguel D. Mena.
