It is what the faithful always do. or (How to) Unweave a Rainbow—is about many things, including museum labor and sleight of hand magic, birdhouses and doubt, through my lens as a museum worker, organizer, and artist. It draws on references to Roni Horn, Elvis, and Bas Jan Ader, among others, to explore the fabrication, preservation, and betrayal of wonder in the museum. Jacob worked on the design, Chicago-based writer and educator Kristi McGuire wrote an afterward, and a blurb was composed for the book by artist Joseph Grigely.
